Dawn Renee Peperoni, 53, of Brazil passed away Wednesday morning, August 11, 2021 in her residence. She was born on May 27, 1968 in Brazil, Indiana, the daughter of Kenneth and Jannena D. (Garrison) Kauffman. Dawn was a former manager of Little Caesars Pizza and Speedway Convenient Mart, both in Brazil.

Dawn was a 1986 graduate of Northview High School and had attended Indiana Business College. On September 26, 2009, Dawn found love again and married Phil Peperoni. She enjoyed crafts, baking, sewing and fishing. Dawn loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Jannena Kauffman; and two half-sisters, Linda Starling and Donna Fleenor.

Survivors include her loving husband of 11 years, Phil Peperoni; three daughters, Samantha Conklin, (Nicholas Sarris), Codie Crafton and Shaylee Jenkins, (Michael Runyan); a brother, Bill Garrison, (Janelle); a sister, Katie Kauffman; grandchildren, Jude, Elisha and Grace, Henrietta Conklin, Brynlee and Boston Crafton; a brother-in-law, James Peperoni; a sister-in-law, Peggy Taylor; a nephew, Kenny Kauffman; and a niece, Jennifer Funk.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, August 16, 2021 in Lawson-Miller Chapel and Crematory, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil with Pastor Rich Laskawski officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday in the Chapel.
