Marilyn Sue Wheeler, 72, of Brazil passed away Thursday August 12, 2021 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Brazil on October 4, 1948, the daughter of James Wesley and Ella Mae (Vanatti) Hamilton. Marilyn was a homemaker to kids and foster children.

Marilyn was a 1966 graduate of Brazil High School. Early in her life she worked at the former Columbia House in Terre Haute. She enjoyed reading books, going on motorcycle rides and watching her soap operas. Her greatest joy was being a foster parent.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Mae Hamilton; and her loving husband of 37 years, Joe Richard Wheeler, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Shelly Brown, Jordan Wheeler, (Ashley Mullenix), Hillary Therriault (Olivia), and Brianna Wheeler; a sister, Kathryn McKenzie; grandchildren, Andrew, Andrea, Cameron, Kaci and Landon Wheeler; a brother-in-law, Terry Wheeler, (Vickie); her animals and extended family.
