Randall Earl Smith

July 9, 1939-Aug. 29, 2021

Randall Earl Smith, 82, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. 

He was born July 9, 1939, at Flippin, Kentucky, a son of the late James Ader and Ida Mae (Thomas) Smith.

Raised in Kentucky, Randall attended school in Temple Hill. In 1962, he moved to Indiana.

On Jan. 9, 1964, he was married to Sharon Lee (Wright) Smith at Crawfordsville. She preceded him in death.

Randall served the City of Crawfordsville as a maintenance technician for the sewer department for more than 24 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and tinkering with cars.   

Survivors include: son Ronnie J. Smith of Princeton and brother Eagle Faye Smith of Pekin.

Private memorial graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 10 at New Ross Cemetery.

Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory of Jamestown has been entrusted with his care.
