Christopher E. Harris

Christopher E. Harris of Crawfordsville passed away Friday morning at the age of 23.

Chris served in the Army and received an honorable discharge. He was training to be a police officer. He loved driving and spent time driving a semi but was currently working construction. He enjoyed playing video games and giving the people he loved a hard time.

Born Sept. 2, 1998, at Crawfordsville, he was the son of Richard Harris and Barbara Caudill Harris. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School.

Surviving family includes: parents, Richard and Barbara Harris; two sisters, Jacinda Harris and Morgan Amich; four brothers, Brandon Harris, Jacob Hart, Harlan Harris and Eric Hart; daughter Spencer White; son Thomas Harris; mother of his children, Nevaeh Walbert; and grandmother, Mary Williams.

A gathering to remember Christopher Harris will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at Burkhart Funeral Home, with a service of remembrance at 6 p.m. His ashes will be placed at the Mace Cemetery at a later date.
