Sandra Kaye Cooksey

Sandra Kaye Cooksey, 79, of Staunton, Indiana, passed away at IU Hospital in Indianapolis, on September 17, 2021.

Sandy was born on March 27, 1942, in Paxton, Illinois the daughter of Kenneth and Marjorie (Atkins) Kietzman. She married Clyde Cooksey on May 30, 1981. Sandy worked as a sales associate for Walmart in both Greencastle and in Brazil.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Marjorie Kietzman, her son Michael Williamson, a brother Rodney Kietzman, and a sister Denise Bailey.

Survivors include her husband Clyde Cooksey of Staunton; a daughter Melissa Edwards (Walter Young) of Brazil; a son Mark Williamson of Marion, Illinois, a step-son Patrick Wayne Cooksey of Iroquois, Illinois; grandchildren: Dustin Williamson (Heather), Jami Brashear (John), Jessica Edwards, Michael Williamson, Cody Williamson, Mark Jewell, Kyle Cunningham, and Patrick Ruhlig; step-grandson Isiah Innman; great-grandchildren: Alexandria Williamson, Kyndra Hudson, Morgan Williamson, and Liam Brashear; sisters Glenna Pate and Michelle Kietzman; as well as many extended family members and friends.
