Jerrold Lee Maxwell

MAY 5, 1941 – SEPTEMBER 28, 2021

Jerrold Lee Maxwell, 80, of Terre Haute, IN., passed away at his residence on September 28, 2021 with his family by his side.

Jerry was born on May 5, 1941, in Terre Haute, to Ralph and Sarah (Burke) Maxwell.

He was a graduate of Otter Creek High School.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judy Maxwell; his three children: Lori “LaLa” Nance (Ernie), Lisa Jennings, and Jeff Maxwell (Cindy); his seven grandchildren: Jonathan Russell (Jade), Maxwell “Max” Jennings, Lucas Jennings (Silvia), Devon Maxwell, Bryce Maxwell, Emerson “Eme” Jennings, and Mikayla Keyser (Austin); and one great-grandchild, Walker Atkins Russell. He is also survived by his brother Robert Maxwell (Phyllis).

Jerry was a member of First Baptist North, where he was a Deacon for several years.

He loved his family and his church. Most of all, he loved his Lord and enjoyed sharing Christ with others. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dee Carter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at First Baptist North from 11am-1:00pm. Service will begin at 1pm with Pastor Brett Parks officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hux Cancer Center.
