Anna Marie Meece

Anna Marie Meece of rural Crawfordsville passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Oct. 2, 2021, at home with family by her side. She was 63.
Anna was a 1976 graduate of North Montgomery High School and was a founding member of the Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Crawfordsville. She worked at Crawford Industries for 32 years, retiring from there. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Most of all, she loved her grandkids and all of her family.
Born Oct. 15, 1957, at Elwood, Indiana, she was the daughter of Louis McRoberts and Mary E. Porter McRoberts. On Dec. 31, 1976, she married Dan Meece. He survives.
Surviving family includes: husband Dan Meece of rural Crawfordsville; two sons, Jerrad (Vanessa) Meece of Crawfordsville and Brandon (Wendy) Meece of Michigan; mother Mary McRoberts of Darlington; sister Debra Coffman of Darlington; two brothers, Robert McRoberts of Crawfordsville and Louis McRoberts Jr. of Darlington; and six grandchildren, Leila Marie, Zane, Jayce, Sedona, Keirstyn and Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Louis McRoberts Sr.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Burkhart Funeral Home. Services will begin at 3 p.m., after which she will be laid to rest at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
