Ralph ‘Ralphie’ Elliott

Ralph “Ralphie” Elliott, 92, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 6, 2021, at Ben Hur Health & Rehab.

He was born March 4, 1929, in Ripley Township, to Gordon P. and Ethel (Fink) Elliott. He married his wife Donna on May 1, 1948. She passed Oct. 1, 2009.

He retired from RR Donnelley, where he was a proof reader.

His memberships included: American Legion, Eagles, V.F.W. and the Elks. He loved sports, especially I.U. and the Dodgers. He was past president of the Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling and was a CHS Booster.

Survivors include: children, David (Amanda), Susie (Tom) Gineris and Lisa (Rick) McKinney; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at noon. He will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery North, with military rites by the American Legion and VFW.
