Cindy Kay Kowitz

March 19, 1957 - October 13, 2021

Cindy K. (Fulmer) Kowitz, 64, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 13, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Cindy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 19, 1957, the daughter of Charles W. and Rosemary (Bolin) Fulmer. She graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1975. She married Keith Kowitz on December 1, 1990. Cindy worked as an LPN at the Putnamville Correctional Facility. She also worked as a home health nurse specializing in special needs children.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years Keith A. Kowitz of Brazil. She is also survived by her sister Kathy Smith of Martinsville, a brother Jeff Fulmer of Martinsville, half-brother Gary Frazier of Florida, sisters-in-law Janice Fulmer and Kathy Stephens, a brother-in-law Samuel Colclasure as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Fulmer, mother Rosemary Bolin Fulmer, a sister Karen Bishop, brother Bill Fulmer, brother-in-law Kevin Kowitz, sister-in-law Kim Colclasure.

Per Cindy’s request, no services will be conducted. A memorial celebration will be conducted at a later date.
