Robin Wayne Hopkins

JULY 5, 1952 – OCTOBER 24, 2021

Robin Wayne Hopkins, 69, Westfield IN, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family, on Oct. 24th, 2021 after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.

Robin was born to Wayne and Roberta Hopkins (Greencastle) on July 5, 1952. He married Susan (Talbott) Hopkins on August 19th,1979, and she survives.

Also surviving : son, Ross Hopkins (wife Jill) of Oldsmar, FL, brother, Donald Hopkins (Greencastle, IN), sister, Rebecca Schneider (Waukesha, WI) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Hopkins.

A virtuoso banjoist, Robin was blessed to live out his dream, sharing the gift of music throughout the country, for 50 years.

Visitation at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle, Sat. Oct. 30, 11am - 2pm with service immediately following.
