Garry Lewis Stout

Garry Lewis Stout, 64, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.

He was born Sept. 11, 1957, at Crawfordsville, to the late Lewis Eugene and Evelyn Marie (Hodshire) Stout.

Garry graduated from Southmont High School in 1975 and married the love of his life, Marisa Annette Stadler, on April 12, 1980.

He worked at RR Donnelley as a hoist driver and retired after 44 years. He was a very entertaining and funny guy that enjoyed making videos, loved all sports, attending sprint car races, golf tournaments, and playing in his fantasy football league; but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids and attending their sporting events. He was very devoted to his family and was the best dad and grandpa ever!

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marisa Stout of Crawfordsville; his children, Kelly (Anthony) Duncan of Kingman and Jeff (Sydnee) Stout of Hillsboro; brother Tom Leigh of California; sister Teresa Darlene (Gary) Laughner of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren, Logan, Lyla, Vivian, Josiah, Joshua and Sylvia; special friends, Bill Maxwell and Randy Allen; father- and mother-in-law, Ivan and Dorothy Stadler; brothers-in-law, Alan and Matt Stadler; sister-in-law Pam Barnum; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Ron Leigh; and sister Roberta Nadolny.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, on Friday, Nov. 5 from 4 p.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
