Robert Hampton Aliff

Robert Hampton Aliff, 72, of Ladoga passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Fransican Health Lafayette East.

He was born Dec. 25, 1948, to Hampton Aliff Jr. and Betty Elaine (Brady) Aliff. On Dec. 21, 1969, he married Judith Leanne McClellan.

He had a generous heart and a love for people. His family, especially his grandkids and his dogs, Mollie and Cricket, were the light of his life. He was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church, the Ben Hur Car Club and was in 4-H as a child. He enjoyed football, basketball, golf and trapping, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, Judy, and his mother, Betty, Robert is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Elmer) Gilbert of Ladoga, April (Duane) Myers of New Ross; grandchildren, Austin Wente, Noah Clos, Alec Myers, Will Myers and Max Myers; and sisters, Bonnie (Jack) Lamberson of Crawfordsville and Cathy (Jefferson) Martin of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hampton Aliff Jr.

There will be a calling 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 at the Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga Chapel.

In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County.
