James Dudley Dale

OCTOBER 17, 1951 – NOVEMBER 7, 2021

James Dudley Dale, 70, of Greencastle passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.

James was born in Indianapolis on September 17, 1951, the son of Robert and Ann (Cowan) Dale, and was a 1969 graduate of Carthage High School in Indianapolis.

Mr. Dale proudly served in the United States Marine Corp the Vietnam War. He retired from the Marine Corp and was an honorable disabled veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Donna Dale, four children, Amber Boyce, (Trea), Reelsville, Heather Ordway, (Kyle), Greencastle, Jacob Dale, (Julianne), Fairland, and Autumn Collis, (Josh), Milroy; a brother, John Dale, (Julie), Kokomo; seventeen grandchildren; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandchild, Trinity Dorsett.

A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 12:00 Noon, until 2:00 p.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Military Honors will be performed at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
