Leland Emanuel Harding

Leland Emanuel Harding, 42, of Lebanon, and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Nov. 17, 1978, at Crawfordsville, to George William Harding and Brenda Lee (Hillard) Vance.

Leland graduated from Southmont High School in 1997 and married the love of his life, Tisha Stephenson on Sept. 24, 2021. He worked at Hendrickson in Lebanon and enjoyed tinkering with stuff, working on his Mustang, was a Ford man, loved to eat, go to fancy restaurants, but most of all he loved his sweets. He was a Cubs fan, had a huge heart and was a friend to everyone. 

He is survived by his wife, Tisha Harding of Lebanon; his daughter, Megan Elaine Harding of Crawfordsville; his father, George (Gail) Harding of Kokomo; his mother, Brenda (Loren Callis) Vance of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Jim (Corrie) Harding and Nathan (Brittany) Harding; one sister, Roanna (Mike) Farris, all of Crawfordsville; a special nephew, James Martin and several other nieces and nephews, to many to mention; which were all the light of his life. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leland and Betty Harding; his maternal grandfather, Emanuel Hillard; a step-father, Ronnie Vance; and his best friend, Shawn White. 

Visitation will be at Sanders Shoemaker Funeral Care, 202 Bratton Road, Waynetown, on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
