Alice M. Fischer

Alice M. Fischer passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at Crawfordsville, at the age of 83.

She was born June 19, 1938, at Alamo, to her parents Fred and Belle Fischer and graduated from Alamo High School in 1956. She worked for RR Donnelley’s for several years, then moved to Vero Beach, Florida in the mid-1960’s where she resided until she returned to Crawfordsville in 2020.

She is survived by son Kyle Scott Fischer; daughter-in-law Claire Fischer; and grandson Graham Jeremiah Fischer, who reside in Columbus, Georgia. She is also survived by sister Martha Griggs of Crawfordsville; brother Jim Fischer of Rockville; and sister-in-law Mary Fischer of Alamo.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Paul, Dale and John Fischer.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be officiated by the Rev. Kevin Howey at Alamo Christian Church, 202 Madison St., Alamo, on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m., with visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Alamo Cemetery.
