Rex Noland Franklin, 55, of Marshall passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, in Marshall.

He was a crane operator and transported the Amish.

He was born Aug. 10, 1966, at Crawfordsville, to the late Rex Manion and Deloris Welever Manion.

Survivors include: two sons, Nathan Crouch and Larry Crouch, both of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Jasmon Stonebraker of Reynolds Station, Kentucky and Elizabeth Emerson of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Tom (Andrea) Franklin of Rockville, James (Peggy) Manion of Crawfordsville and Allen Franklin; five sisters, Judy Rogers, Gloria Jarrad of Greencastle, Wanda (Michael) Horgan of Pensacola, Florida, Rexanna Rose Manion and Karen Manion; two grandchildren, Rebecca Crouch and Lois Crouch.

He was an ordained minister. He didn’t know a stranger, he liked going to the Gas & Grille and helping other people. He found good in everyone, he loved animals and gardening. He had very a big heart.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville. Visitation is noon to 2p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
