Norris Louise Sears

JULY 10, 1937 – DECEMBER 29, 2021

Norris Louise Sears, 84, of Greencastle, passed away peacefully at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born July 10, 1937 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Arthur F. Sr. and Myrtle (Osborn) Buis.

Norris retired from PR Mallory, where she had worked for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Charles W., Virgil, and Gerald Ray Buis.

Norris is survived by her husband, Jack D. Sears; five children, Kenny Ferrand (Kathy), Janice Ferrand (Frank Williams), Reta Ferrand-Cortrecht (Rick), Bill Ferrand (Susie) and Charles Ferrand; three stepsons, David Sears (Kelley), Dan Sears (Paula) and Lance Sears; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Nora Miller and Carolyn Bemis; three brothers, Arthur Buis Jr. (Mary), Ralph Buis (Phyllis) and Kenneth Buis; several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Norris to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
