Paul D. Archer

December 11, 1968 - January 7, 2022

Paul Douglas Archer, 53, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away at home, on January 7, 2022, following a lengthy illness.

Paul was born on December 11, 1968, in Gibson City, Illinois, the son of Richard Leroy and Walda Mae (Jones) Archer Livingston. He graduated from North Putnam High School with the class of 1988. Paul was a member of the Hendricks County Amateur Radio Society. He received his HAM radio license in 2015 and enjoyed learning from this group of people who had similar interests in his love of all things radio. He was also a member of Awesome Westside Advocates. His greatest joy was working with audio and radio equipment and he had an extensive collection of both. Paul enjoyed listening to music and collected music on reel-to-reel, records, 8 tracks, cassettes, and CD’s. Each item was lovingly selected carefully categorized as he added to his collection. Paul also enjoyed watching old movies and playing Bingo.

He described himself as quiet, shy, agreeable, and friendly. He loved all animals – especially dogs. The family is encouraging a donation to your local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.

He is survived by his mother Walda Livingston and step father Oran Livingston; a sister Janette Simons; step brother Wes Livingston; step brother Brian Livingston, as well as nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his father Richard Archer.

A visitation will be held at French Funeral Home on Thursday January 13, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at Summit Lawn Cemetery immediately following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lee Reberger officiating.
