Charles"Dude" R. Renfro

February 19, 1930 ~ January 12, 2022 (age 91)

Charles “Dude” R. Renfro, age 91 of Putnamville passed away January 12th, 2022.

Born in Osborn, OH February 19th, 1930 to the late Charles F. and Mary (Alexander) Renfro.

Charles married Lam (Boonsoongnern)Renfro on December 25th, 1967 in Thailand, she preceded him in death May 1st, 2005.

Charles was an Air Force veteran having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and he retired from the State Farm Correctional Facility in 1993.

He is survived by his daughter Lin (Robert) Iseman of Greencastle; son Don Renfro of Columbus OH; stepdaughter Elizabeth Jean Maley of FL; sister Joan Olson and several nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his wife and parents he is also preceded in death by his brother Robert Renfro and sister Ida May Scott.

Graveside services for Charles will be held at 12:00 pm Monday January 17th, 2022 at the Putnamville Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
