Arthur"Chic" R. McKee

September 23, 1944 ~ January 15, 2022 (age 77)

Arthur “Chic” R. McKee, age 77 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord January 15th, 2022.  He was born in Burnside, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Hazel (Sexton)McKee.  He married Karon (Merriman)McKee August 21st, 1964 and she survives.

Chic was a dedicated truck driver for most of his life and retired from Roadway Express after 25 years of service. Also, survived by a brother Danny(Sandy) McKee of Reelsville, IN. He was proceeded in death by his father Arthur Lee McKee and his mother Hazel Virginia “Sexton”McKee, two brothers Ira McKee and Gordon Wayne McKee, two sisters Sandy McKee and Donna McKee.  He leaves behind his wife of 57 years Karon McKee and four children Robin(Charlie) Slicer of Quincy, IN, Angela(Bruce) McQuern of Lebanon, IN, Kevin(Lisa) McKee of Burnside, KY and Shannon(Joseph) Fitzpatrick of Greencastle, IN as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Chic enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar and especially loved spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral Services for Chic will be held Friday, January 21st, 2022 at 11:00am, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held Thursday, January 20th, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
