Robert Frederick Tucker

Robert Frederick Tucker, age 89, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. Robert was born October 4, 1932 to Ora Tucker and Catherine (Storey) Tucker.
Robert had been employed as an electrician at IBEW Local 725.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Tucker; children: Mitzi Parker (David) and Jeffrey Tucker (Jill); Step-children: Donald Toney (Brenda), Randy Toney (Kris), Cheryl Loudermilk (Norman); 5 grandchildren: Jessica Frease (Glenn), Eric Parker (Carly), Matthew Parker (Kaitlyn), Laura Wright (Joseph), Katie Paulin; 7 step-grandchildren: Donald Toney (Rachel), Kyle Toney (Lindsay), Alysha Kesner (Jordan), Ashley Miley (Josh), Kayla Toney, Josh Loudermilk, and Jacob Loudermilk; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was a member of the VFW 972 and IBEW Local 725 Electrician Retiree's Club.
Robert loved wood working, especially making bird houses and inventing his own creations. He was an avid bird watcher. Robert was a huge St. Louis Cardinal Fan. He enjoyed helping others and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 53 years, Rhea.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 10am- 12pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Service will begin at 12pm with pastor, Dennis Ticen officiating. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home.
