Robert Lynn Rumley Jr.

DECEMBER 24, 1964 – JANUARY 29, 2022

Robert Lynn Rumley, 57, of Reelsville passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Robert was born in Greencastle on December 24, 1964, the son of Robert Lynn and Audeen (King) Rumley, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Rumley worked for 23 years with Lobdell Emery. He then worked as a Welder for Crown Equipment for 15 years. He loved to make bows, and was an avid outdoorsman. He shot bows often, and enjoyed competition.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Robin Rumley; two sons, Bradley Rumley, (Christina), and Eric Rumley, (Leann); six grandchildren, Jayden Rylan, Liam, Kyler, Kaysn, and Lindsey; two sisters, Debra Rigney, (Garry), and Ann Starr, (Tony); three brothers-in-law, Alvin, Lloyd, and Quentin Pilkin; a sister-in-law, Stacey Pilkin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Edward Rumley.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
