James Vaughn Jenkins

JANUARY 20, 1936 – FEBRUARY 3, 2022

James Vaughn Jenkins, age 86, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

He was born on January 20, 1936 to Rollin V. Jenkins and Wilhelmina (Wickhorst) Jenkins.

James is survived by his children: Sandra Hedrick (Kevin), Duane Jenkins (Carolyn), Dustin Jenkins (Teri), Dean Jenkins; step-children: Dennis Stewart (Sharon), Sheri Tetidrick (David), Janine Worley (Rick), and Steve Pigg (Krissy); along with his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James is also survived by his two sisters, Wilma Roman and Margaret Lee.

James served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the US Postal Worker Union and the New Life Fellowship Church.

James had a love for music and playing his harmonica. James also enjoyed working on small engine repairs. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Mary Ann and Janet Jenkins; along with his five siblings: Tony, Pete, Annie, Susie, and Harriett.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 1- 2pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Memorial service will begin at 2pm with Pastor Harpole officiating.
