Kenneth Wayne Seybold of Davison, Michigan, 88, passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated noon Tuesday, Feb. 8 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Entombment will immediately follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Outreach East, in Kenneth’s memory.

Kenneth was born in Montgomery County, Indiana on Jan. 25, 1934, son of the late Kenneth and Frances (Dazey) Seybold. Ken graduated from Waveland High School and Indiana State University. Kenneth married Darrieux Taimi on Aug. 27, 1994. Ken retired from Flint Community Schools after many years as an administrator, educator, coach and drivers training instructor. He was a charter member of Davison Country Club and enjoyed golfing with his friends. Ken was an avid sports enthusiast, skilled card player and was a University of Michigan fan. He loved supporting his children and grandchildren in their endeavors. Ken was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, boating and morel hunting. Ken and Darrieux happily spent their winters in Englewood, Florida. His biggest love was spending time with his family.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Darrieux; six children, Sherri (Dan Roesener) Stephens, Steven (Beverly) Seybold, Scott (Beth) Seybold, Stan Seybold, Susan (Ricky) Perrigin and Sandy (Mike) Galarno; step-daughter Alisha (Luther Johnson) Boven; 21 grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica) and Garrett (Rachel) Stephens, Mariah and Hunter Seybold, Tim and Matt (Amber) Seybold, Shaunna and Kyle Seybold, Hope, Seth and Sawyer Perrigin, Ashton, Logan (Kylee) and Addison Galarno, Blake Copeland, Cecilia (Aahron) Morris, Brieanna, Alyssa and Teaghan Boven, Lauren and Luther Johnson; nine great-grandchildren; sister Marilyn (Ed) Allen; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by wife, Martha Seybold; sister Ruth Quesnell; stepsons, Patrick, Terrence and Kerry Boven.
