Chris Shane Dean

September 24, 1970 - February 2, 2022

Chris Shane Dean, 51, of Terre Haute, Indiana and formerly of Brazil, Indiana, passed away, at home, on February 2, 2022, following a short battle with cancer.

Chris was born on September 24, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of James L. and Pamela (Baggett) Dean. Chris attended VanBuren High School. Most recently, Chris had been working for Walmart Distribution, in Greencastle. Chris could fix about anything. He enjoyed working on cars and anything with a motor, fishing, boating, camping, working as a taxi driver, and remodeling homes.

Chris attended the Brazil United Pentecostal Church.

Chris was preceded in death by his father James L. Dean.

Chris is survived by his wife Jenny Dean of Terre Haute; mother Pamela Ellis and husband Jim of Clay City; 5 sons: Christopher Dean of Clearwater, FL, Shane Dean of Clearwater, Fl, Zachary Boggs and wife Kay of Indianapolis, Travis Moore and wife Autumn of Redlands, CA, and Dakota “Cody” Dean and wife Savanna of Clinton, IN; grandchildren: Austin, Andrew, Jamison, Hayden, Traxston, and Ryker; siblings: Michael Weiss and wife Rhonda and James W. Dean and wife Melissa; dear friends: Mitchell Hyde and Kevin Vinzant as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4-8pm. Services will be on Saturday, at the funeral home, at 2:00pm with Pastor Anthony Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery.
