Albert Franklin Lundy

Albert Franklin “Frank” Lundy, 89, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care, in Terre Haute, Indiana on February 3, 2022.

Frank was born on August 25, 1932, in Switz City, Indiana the son of Charles and Macel (Wright) Lundy. He graduated from Switz City High School and later from Terre Haute Commercial College where he earned a degree in accounting. He served his country with the United States Air Force, during the Korean War, as a Supply Clerk. Frank worked for the Indiana Department of Corrections, as an Industrial Foreman, for 41 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed woodworking, going to yard sales, and scrapping.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Macel Lundy; his wife Irma (Lemmons) Lundy; and 3 brothers: James Lundy, Robert Lundy, and Willis Lundy.

Survivors include his 3 children: Jeanette Cofer (Gary) of Cloverdale, Lilac Parker of Cloverdale, and Joseph Lundy (Dawn) of Carbon; grandchildren: Olivia Lundy, Jennifer Lundy, Eric Cofer (Gina), Gary Cofer (Charlie), Anthony Cofer (Sarah), Andrew Cofer (Nikki), Alisha Wenrick (Chris), Anita Gillison, Maria Harrison, Crystal Christi (Donnie), and Phillip Parker; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister Sarah Hollingsworth (Wayne) as well as several extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at Putnamville Cemetery, at a later date.
