Patricia Ann Lewis, 79, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital, with her family by her side.

Patricia (Patty) was born Aug. 16, 1942, at Veedersburg, the daughter of Kenneth and Alberta (Sigler) Krout. She married Ed Beasley on Oct. 13, 1961; they were later divorced. She married Marvin Lewis on June 11, 1983.

Surviving family include: two daughters, Kay (Steve) Harper, Lecanto, Florida, and Diane (Bill) Ingalsbe, Veedersburg; son Patrick (Jenny) Beasley, Veedersburg; step-daughter Mitzi (Joe) Barnes, Covington; two brothers, Bob (Jeannie) Richey, Hillsboro, and Don (Debbie) Richey, Veedersburg; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Lewandowski, Sean (Tiffany) Alexander, Adam Barnes, Kayla Beasley, Creston (Micah) Beasley, Bailee Harper, Faith Barnes, Brandon Ingalsbe and Ashlynn (Bradley) Howell; and six great-grandchildren, River Holt, Quinn Lewandowski, Holden Lewandowski, Jacob Beasley, Asa Lewandowski and Joseph Beasley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Alberta; her husband, Marvin; her brother, Kenny Krout; and her sister, Sharon Allen.

Patty graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1960. She was a cheerleader for the Green Devils all throughout high school. Patty worked in the cafeteria at Fountain Central High School for 34 years until her retirement in 2008.

Patty attended Sterling Christian Church and enjoyed helping with coffee for Sunday morning services and cooking meals for KIT Club. She loved taking care of her yard, growing flowers, reading, watching game shows and the Hallmark Channel, and cooking Sunday dinner every week for her family.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21 at Sterling Christian Church, 701 S. Sterling Ave., Veedersburg. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Sterling Christian Church, with Pastor Gary Johnson and Pastor Derek Jackson officiating. Burial will follow service at Rockfield Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Sterling Christian Church or Rockfield Cemetery.
