Susan Chambers

Susan Chambers of Crawfordsville passed away Monday morning, Feb. 14, 2022, at University Hospital after a long illness. She was 48.
Susan was a huge fan of the show Grey’s Anatomy and Patrick Swayze. She loved spending time with family and especially spending time with her grandkids. She was a 1992 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
Born April 16, 1973, at Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Hubert Dowell and Rosalie Blanton Dowell. She married David Chambers on June 21, 1992. He survives.
Surviving family includes: husband David Chambers; two daughters, Megan Chambers and Danielle Chambers; two granddaughters, Sophia and Madalynn; and three sisters, Ronda Blanton, Vonda Shively and Angie Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
There will be a gathering to celebrate the life of Susan Chambers from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at the Christian Union Church, 1472 N. C.R. 650W, Waynetown. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
