Brice Kirby Taylor

Brice Taylor, 64, of Crawfordsville beat Esophageal cancer as he gained his wings on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022. He died at home surrounded by his family who loved him.

Brice was born June 4, 1957, at Las Animas, Colorado, to Warren and Mary Lou Taylor.

He graduated in 1976 from North Vermillion High School, Cayuga. He also graduated in 2003 from MMI Florida. He was employed 17 years with Fastenal at Indianapolis as the maintenance manager for manufacturing until his retirement in June 2021. He loved his job and his friends there.

Some of his favorite times were fishing with family on his boat, riding the Harley with his wife, Cheryl, or making his special ribs on the grill for family cookouts. Brice had a special love for his Dobermans.

Lovingly remembered by wife, Cheryl Taylor; daughter Nicole (Bradley) Kincaid; step-sons, Michael (Kendra) Dunagan and William (Cynthia) Dunagan; grandchildren, Austin, Abbie, Brenden, Keira, Audrey, Amelia, Nathan, Sophia, Hudson and Maddox; brothers, Mike Taylor (Kenyon) of Texas and Randy Taylor (Sandy) of Colorado; sister-in-law Marylou Riley of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to his gentle nature, loving heart and a smile that would melt your heart, he will be missed by his family and many friends.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date this summer.

Cremation has taken place.
