Ruth M. (Perry) Kelp

Feb. 11, 1941-April 27, 2022

Ruth M. (Perry) Kelp, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in her New Richmond home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1941. She was married to Keith Kelp on Dec. 24, 1963. He is deceased. Together they had three children, Richard (Janeice) Kelp, Kristine (Joe) Emerson and Karen (Kevin) Milburn.

She was blessed with 10 wonderful grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was a member of the Women’s Army Corp, a branch of the Army.

She loved volunteering  for the Sheltie Rescue of Greater Lafayette and rescued and fostered many shelties in her home. Ruth was a loving and caring person and would help any one who needed it.

She is survived by sister Sue (Dave) Short of New Richmond

Per her request, she has chosen to not have visitation and services.

She will be loved and missed by many.
