Linda Jean Ashcraft

Linda Jean Ashcraft, 75, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly, on June 20, 2022.
Linda was born on February 18, 1947, in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Jesse Dale Jordan and Norma Jane Bush. At the age of 15 she married Franklin Dale Ashcraft. Together they had 2 daughters: Angela and Natalie. Linda had a childcare service for several years, however, most of her life was spent caring for her family. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, and mother.
Linda was an avid reader. She also enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home, and ministry. She was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Daily, she would write letters to others testifying of Jehovah. Recently, she became interested in bird watching and enjoyed her many birdfeeders in her yard.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years Dale Ashcraft; two daughters: Angela Denise Brown and husband James and Natalie Annette Lafary and husband Darryl; grandchildren: J. Kent Brown, Monica Bahlool, Tiffani VanDermark, Dale Williams, Lee Lafary, Sierra Lafary, and Kyle Lafary; great-grandchildren: Bridgett, Deklyn, Jaxton, Jaisley, Azalea, and Avean; two sisters: Judy Hatfield and Sandy Boone; as well as a niece Kelly Boone and a nephew Matthew Boone.
No services have been planned at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home, in Brazil.
