Russell Allen Layne “JR”, 65 of Brazil passed away July 2, 2022. He was born September 8, 1956 to Virgil and Norma Layne. JR was married to the love of his life, Beverly Layne for 44 years.
JR loved to go fishing and work on cars. He loved watching his soaps and Judge Judy. He loved spending time with family.
JR is survived by his wife Beverly, five kids, Brian (Terra) Layne, Ann Layne, Angel (Ron) Mallory, John Dixon, and Jason (Charles) Foster, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, siblings, Barbara Keasling, Bill (Diane) Layne, Evelyn (Dean) Targett, Karen Evenson, and Lisa Layne.
JR is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, four brothers, Larry, Andy, Robert “Bobby”, and Terry Layne, as well as one grandson, Charles Layne.
Cremation services have been entrusted to French Funeral Home.
