Ruth Gillespie

Ruth Gillespie, 92, passed away July 9, 2022 at Signature Healthcare in Terre Haute. Ruth was born to the late Richard and Banie (Blevins) Perry on February 18, 1930 in West Virginia.
Ruth worked as a seamstress for many years. She loved spending time with her family, working in her flower garden, and painting. Ruth was a long-time member of Eastside Christian Church.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Banie Perry, her husband, Curt Gillespie, her siblings, Della Rotramel, Marvin Perry, Howard Perry, Zella Hayworth, Kenneth Perry, and Walter Perry, as well as one great grandson, Colton Shilling.
Ruth is survived by her four children, Kay Luthe, Rick Johnson (Deb), Kathy Beadles, and Carla Jo Johnson, four grandchildren, Lisa Shilling (Patrick), David Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson, and Toby Beadles (Carol), five great grandchildren, Joslynn Shilling, Rudy Beadles, Jacob Beadles, Gus Beadles, and Jace Rector.
