Paul A. Reed

Paul A. Reed, 98, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on August 6, 2022, while at Community South Hospital.

Paul was born in Clay City, Indiana on April 27, 1924, the son of Otis and Pearl (Brown) Reed. When Paul wasn’t working as a truckdriver he enjoyed spending time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Dorothy Mullen Reed; his parents Otis and Pearl Reed; two children Robert Reed and Timothy Reed; and siblings: June Reed, Wanda Walker, and Helen Latham.

He is survived by his daughter Betty Scholle and husband Phil of Indianapolis and Thomas Reed of Clay City; a granddaughter Nicole West and husband Wade; two great-grandchildren: Michaela Fuller and husband Anthony and Tristan Barrett.

Private graveside services were held at Summit Lawn Cemetery.

French Funeral Home, in Brazil, was entrusted with his care.
