David C. Huseman

David Charles Huseman, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, surrounded by family at his beloved lake home in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Born April 15, 1946, at Crawfordsville, to the late Richard C. And Julia Bauer Huseman, he attended Alamo school where a deep love of education, mathematics and basketball was instilled. He received his undergraduate degree from Greenville College where he was active in student government and debate, and he continued his educational pursuits at the University of Georgia. A consummate entrepreneur and innovator, he founded multiple businesses and relished mentoring and helping those just starting out. David loved to travel and visited all seven continents.

He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 47 years, Lynda Poston Huseman; daughter Rachel (Edward) Schneider; grandchildren Phoebe and Alden Schneider; and siblings, Richard (Carolyn) Huseman and Flora (James) Wilson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at Harpeth Presbyterian Church, 3077 Hillsboro Road, Brentwood, Tennessee. David’s family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. in the church parlor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
