Bill McCullough Sr.

William “Bill” Lee McCullough Sr., age 80, passed away August 18, 2022. Bill was born to the late Sebert Franklin and Frances Ellen McCullough in Terre Haute on January 4, 1942.
Bill was a 1960 graduate of Garfield High School. On August 18, 1962 Bill married the love of his life, Pauline Ornduff who preceded him in death in 2017. Together they had three children, Billy, Stevie, and Lori Ann. For over 46 years he worked at Gartland Foundry, with his last ten years being a foreman. Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, and gardening. He also enjoyed watching football and basketball, especially when IU or the Colts were playing. Bill always loved a good auction find. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his entire family. He always loved to tease and play practical jokes, that was how he showed his love, and he loved a lot.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pauline McCullough, and one son, Steven McCullough.
Bill is survived by his children, William McCullough Jr. (Becky), Laura Ann Wright (Brian), grandchildren, Billy III, Brandon (Marah), Alysen, Haile (Iain), and Nicole (Ty), great grandchildren, Aireona, Skilynn, Eli, Devynn, Liam, Pavin, one sister, Dottie Gaines, niece, LaDonna Gaines, and nephew, Tom Gaines (Maki), as well as many other extended family members. Bill is also survived by his four-legged best friend, Peanut.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24th from 4-8 P.M. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. Thursday, August 25th at the funeral home. Friends and family may visit from 12 P.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Poplar Cemetery.

He will be greatly missed.
