Hershel A. ‘Sonny’ Beecher Jr.

Hershel A. “Sonny” Beecher Jr. passed away on Sept. 23, 2022, at his home in Washington, Louisiana. He was 83.

He was a graduate of New Market High School and a Vietnam War veteran.

He was born Jan. 6, 1939, to Hershel and Bernice (Barnhart) Beecher.

Surviving are his children, Bradon Beecher of Leesburg, Georgia and Erika Dault of Presque Isle, Michigan; grandchildren, Margret Beecher, Hannah Beecher and Chrstian McGilton; and two sisters, Barbra Waldon and Beverly Caldwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margie Lauy, Betty Wilson and Jean Brumbaugh; and brother Walter Beecher.

There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.
