Austin M. Michael

Austin M. Michael, 29, passed away suddenly Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville.

He was born May 17, 1993, to Mike and Angela (Bannon) Michael in Greencastle. He was a graduate of Southmont High School, Class of 2012. 

Austin worked at Random House for 10 years. He enjoyed working out at Iron Smith’s Gym in Crawfordsville. He was part of the Crawfordsville Library groups, playing Dungeons and Dragons, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokémon card games. Austin took pride in his tattoo artwork and his Ford Raptor truck.

Austin is survived by his parents, Mike and Angela Michael; siblings, Cody Michael, Kirsti (Michael) Adams and Travis Michael; grandparents, Lynnetta Michael and Janie (Calvin) Shrader; aunt Christina (Roger) Grahm; great uncle Bill (Cheryl) Ford; and several other extended family members. 

Austin was predeceased by grandfathers, Keith Michael and Ronald Bannon Jr., and great-grandparents. 

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 7 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 5 p.m.
