Norma Jean Johnson

APRIL 4, 1934 – OCTOBER 3, 2022

Norma Jean Johnson, 88, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 surrounded by family.

Born April 4, 1934 in Carbon, IN, the daughter of George and Luella (Neal) Treash.

Norma was a homemaker, who loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and bowling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Chris Alan Johnson; sisters Bertha Morgan, Mildred Stultz, Louise Wallace, and Linda Phillips; brothers Walter, Clarence, George Jr., and Herbert Treash.

Norma is survived her husband, Walter R. Johnson; daughter Vicki (Larry) Oliver; sister Mary Woll, brothers, Robert (Susan) Treash, Mickey (Mary) Treash, and Kenny Treash; grandchildren Jennifer (Adam) Dobson, Brandi (Bob) Sharp, and Daniel Oliver; great grandchildren, Lilli Oliver, Kaydence & Anna Sharp, Elizabeth & Natalie Dobson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home and from 11:00 AM until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
