Madonna Rose Burch

JANUARY 19, 1944 – SEPTEMBER 30, 2022

Madonna Rose Burch, age 78, of West Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022.

She was born January 19,1944 in Sandcut/Vigo Co., Indiana to Smith Grindle and Thelma (Hammond) Kirby.

Madonna was a proud member and past Queen of The Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Larry L. Burch Sr.; her children: Tonya Coleman (Ronald), Larry L. Burch Jr. (Carmen), Helean Franklin (Benny), David Burch (Melinda), and Noel Williams; 4 grandchildren: Chevelle, Mack, Kenneth, and Mckenzie; along with one great-grandchild, Remy. Madonna is also survived by her two sisters, Wilma Fordice and Minnie Stultz.

Madonna was a gifted seamstress. She had a love for genealogy and taking good naps. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Most of all, she cherished time with her family.

She is preceded in death her parents; Thelma and Clifford Kirby; and her siblings: Juanita Lasure, Dorothy Bemis, Imogene Price, Ed Grindle, Devella Rowley, Alva Grindle, Sharon Lemerick, and Estel Grindle.

Per her wishes cremation has been chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm at the West Terre Haute United Methodist Church, located at 221 S. 6th St, West Terre Haute, 47885. Service will begin at 4pm. Services will conclude at the Church.
