Dorothy Louise Blaydes Templeman, 102, of Roachdale passed away peacefully on the evening of Oct. 8, 2022.
She was born Dec. 18, 1919, at Lapland, Indiana, to Grover and Clona Alma (Dickerson) Blaydes. She married Lloyd Thomas Templeman on May 17, 1946, at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death.
Dorothy attended school in Ladoga. She worked at Allison’s Division of General Motors in Indianapolis during World War II, and then she was a happy homemaker the rest of her life. She enjoyed raising and taking care if her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Fry; grandchildren, Tim (CoryAnn) Fry, Dan (Paula) Fry and Sam (Renee) Fry; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lloyd; son-in-law Ralph Fry; brother Russell Blaydes; and two sisters, Geneva Young and Dell Light.
Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale.
