Richard Edward Farris

Richard Edward Farris, 76, of Greencastle, formerly of Spencer, passed away on October 14, 2022 surrounded by family.

Born March 22, 1946 in Piedmont, West Virginia, the son of William and Mary L. Farris.

Richard was veteran having served in the United States Army.

He had worked in maintenance for several years. Richard was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church in Patricksburg, IN.

He married Anna (Zoeller) Farris and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter

Richard is survived by his children, Jacinda Farris, Bradley (wife, Angie) Farris, Clinton (wife, Tammy) Farris, Tania (husband, Rick) Richardson, and Brandy (wife, Catherine) Farris; grandchildren, Nikki, Katie, Bradley, Danielle, Brock, Brooklyn, Jessica, Ashley, Jennifer,James, Wayne, and Gabriel; and several great grandchildren.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IN. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
