Tommy Megenhardt

Rex Thomas “Tommy” Megenhardt, 73, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, on October 19, 2022, following an extended illness.

Tommy was born on July 29, 1949, in Clay County, Indiana the son of Rex and Helen (Dillman) Megenhardt. He graduated from Brazil High School. He worked for the Clay County Highway Department for a while prior to beginning work at, Clay County Hospital, Regional Hospital, and then Clay Community Schools as a janitor for several years.

Tommy enjoyed watching NASCAR, Colts Football, IU Basketball and working out in the lawn.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rex and Helen Megenhardt.

He is survived by his brother Randy (Debi) Megenhardt; two nephews: Daniel Megenhardt and Matthew Megenhardt (Maya); great-niece Melini Megenhardt; three aunts: Peggy, Dorothy “Dot”, and Nancy.

Burial will be held at Centerpoint Cemetery at a later date.

French Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.
