Melinda June Smith

JUNE 4, 1965 – OCTOBER 19, 2022

Melinda June Smith, age 57, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Melinda was born on June 4, 1965 in Terre Haute, to Ervin M. Waller and Dorothy A (Brown) Waller.

She is survived by her three children: Jeremy Smith (Staci), Jammie Hires (Billy), and Jennifer Bolton; her 10 grandchildren: Sierra, Haley, Jolene, Jazmyn, Braxton, Ayden, Allie, Anna, Alec, and Asher; as well as her great-grandchild, Leilani. Melinda is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Jean Gross.

Melinda was Known for her spunky character. In her younger years, she loved to go on walks and spend time with her grandchildren. She wanted to make sure that everyone knew that she was the Boss.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Ervin, Carl, and Marshall Waller; and her sisters, Mary Lewis and Luella Smith.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 11am -1pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Service will begin at 1pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home.
