Wilma Jean Fenwick Sillery

JANUARY 21, 1934 – OCTOBER 20, 2022

Wilma Jean Fenwick Sillery, 88, of Greencastle passed away on October 20, 2022, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.

Wilma was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 21, 1934, the daughter of Clarence and Letha (Abbott) Bonifacius, and was a 1952 graduate of Roachdale High School.

Wilma was a member of the First Assembly of God in Greencastle for 60 years. She worked for DePauw University for over 20 years. Wilma loved gardening and being outdoors.

Survivors include her four children, Steve Fenwick, (Erin Mahoney), Karen Gruenholz, (Tim), Gary Fenwick, (Lynn), and David Sillery, (Jana); three sisters, Anna Schroeder, Faye Bartlett, and Mary Vangundy, (Hal); three brothers, Clarence Bonifacius, (Jan), James Bonifacius, (Kathy), and William Bonifacius; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Tanner Kyle Speed Fenwick; her first husband, Hurbert “Speed” Fenwick; her second husband, Charles W. Sillery; and a daughter-in-law, Sherrie Fenwick.
