Genevieve Bond

Genevieve Bond, 93, passed away October 21, 2022. Genevieve was born to the late Fred and Ethel (Killion) Lafollette on December 20, 1928 in Brazil, Indiana.

Genevieve worked as a cook for Reelsville School Corporation as well as South Putnam School Corporation. Genevieve loved flowers, and truly enjoyed gardening. She was a homemaker for many years. Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cebert Bond, siblings, Josephine Rader, Sylvia Whitehead, Barb Mostelller, Frank Lafollette, Tom Lafollette, and Charlie Lafollette, as well as several half siblings. Genevieve was also preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Bond.

Genevieve is survived by her children, William Bond (Kathy), Rodney Bond (Rebecca), and Steven Bond, three grandchildren, Bryan Bond, Matthew Bond (Lisa), Brooke Hertz (John), as well as eight great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 25th from 12-1 P.M. at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery.
