Carolyn Ann Kern

Carolyn Ann Kern, 87, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 5, 1935, in Terre Haute, to Andrew J. and Dicie D. (Jackson) Miller.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Andrew Kern, James Kern, and Pam Morris; grandchildren: Shelby, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Dennis, Angela, Brandon, James, Heather, Nicole, and Chad.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Kern; her son, Dennis Kern; grandson, David Kern; and all of her siblings.

Carolyn worked as a CNA for Winter Park Memorial Hospital in Florida for many years. She loved to be outside, soaking up the warm, Florida sun. Carolyn also enjoyed cleaning her home, keeping it tidy, comfortable, and welcoming at all times. She will be truly missed by those who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 28 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
