Betty Lancaster

JULY 28, 1944 – NOVEMBER 4, 2022

Betty B. Lancaster, 78, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Born July 28, 1944 in Greencastle, the daughter of Clarence and Pauline (Harmon) Marshall. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1962” and of Indiana Business College.

Betty retired from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where she served as secretary for 23 years. She was a member of the Sherwood Christian Church and volunteer with the Putnam County Hospital Ladies Guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty is survived by her husband John F. Lancaster; daughters, Melissa Lancaster and Terri (husband Jason) Scott; grandson Cameron Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 19th at the Sherwood Christian Church 600 Kirkwood Drive Greencastle, IN.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to the Sherwood Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
