Larry H. Scott

Larry H. Scott, age 78, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
He was born on April 1, 1944 in Kankakee, Illinois to Clifford Hadley Scott and Sarah Maxine Miller Scott.
Larry was a graduate of Garfield High School, and proudly served his country in the US Navy.
He entered the IBEW local 725, where he learned his electrical skills. Larry had worked for several electrical companies throughout his career. He was instrumental in leading others to become electricians, including his grandson, Joseph.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Scott and his wife Sheri; sister Juanita Morris; brother-in-law, Dale Nolan; and sister-in-law, Shirley Hills.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Naomi; two daughters, Cathy Nutter and husband Brad, Sr. and Stacy Brentlinger and husband Joe II; a sister, Carol Judd; brother-in-law, Rodney Nolan; and sister-in-law Donna Nolan; five grandchildren, Bradley Nutter, Brandon Nutter, Cierra Nutter and fiance Jonny, Joseph Brentlinger and wife Alyssa and Jordan Helms and husband Branden; six great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brian, Addison, Kasen, Jacy and Emmy; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1 P.M. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Branham officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until time of services on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Larry was an avid IU Basketball fan, loved Bears Football, and a Jeff Gordon fan. Lottery scratch offs were a favorite hobby.
