Revel Basham

November 25, 1936 - November 17, 2022

Miss Revel Basham, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 17, 2022, in North Salem, Indiana.  She was born on November 25, 1936, in Huff, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Fred N. and Blanche (White) Basham.            

Revel held memberships with the former Hope Baptist Church in Jamestown and the First Baptist Church in Lizton.  She enjoyed making crafts, watching television, and going out to eat.  Above all, Revel loved her family dearly, especially delighting in the little children.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Glen Basham and wife, Donna of Brownsburg; two sisters, Madeline Woodall of North Salem and Geneva Heller and husband, Ron of Pittsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory, 6 South California Street, in North Salem, Indiana, with Brother Walter Beam, officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in North Salem.
